Read a whole heap of forum posts with this being the closest - same issue on N64 but I cannot apply it here - or can I? I have swapped out the scummvm.ini - same Ive tried swapping out scummvm.ahk and scummvm.isd with another users - same. Also turn off Fade to see if you are hiding your problem. Please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module, followed any notes in the module, and have this emulator working outside your Frontend first. ScriptError - There was an error waiting for the window "ahk_class SDL_app" to become active. When I try to load it I get a RL window : InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.Ive added a Scumm game in zip format and setup the emulator in RL using SCUMM.exe 1.8.0.0 (game unpacked works OK out of RL) InstallationDate: Installed on (63 days ago) The code in question is clearly broken, returning NULL from a function that never returns NULL otherwise. None, this fixes a crash that occurs only on snappy. TBD (snapcraft.yaml with flight- of-the- amazon- queen) I would like to SRU this fix into xenial given the high impact of snappy and the negative effect this bug has for each application using SDL. ![]() The debian/patches file patch is attached. I've patched the function to return "unknown" (as it does in other cases) and tested that this works correctly. The error case, which doens't occur outside snappy confinement cause the function to return null, leading to a crash when the data is subsequently used without checks. Some debugging in gdb lead me to a bug libsdl1.2 in get_progname(). To my dismay I found that scummvm crashes on initialization. I was trying to use snapcraft to snap flight- of-the- amazon- queen.
